Hoya Toya

i miss Hoya Toya. i did the mixes for two of their songs(longyearbyen and Nobody Goes to Vegas) up on their myspace. i don't know if they disbanded or what. hiatus. hmm..... so i'm making a song for them. it'a actually one of their songs but i'm making a more ambient version of it. it'll be called Hoya Toya :D. without the smiley face. but those're some cool dudes making cool music tho.

but in other news, haven;t found decent videos yet to make music videos to. once i find the perfect stuff i'll make some perfect videos ;}.

i haven;t really been enjoying school much. it'a hard to find motivation when no one else seems to care. but i'm feeling decent enough to record soon so maybe i'll post some new stuff up on my MYSPACE.

if you downloaded my album and you cant get it open then you should try downloading winrar for free. just google winrar and pick the free download for the specs of your computer. if not then stuffit expander should work. i got all of these things to work but some people are having trouble. hmmm.... the next time i'll try to make it a different file type. snap son!

New Album Name???

that's right.

i'm making a new album. i don't think to make songs for an album. so i make as many as i can and then i decide which go together. if it were up to me i'd have one huge album. but it'd be so long that i wouldn;t even listen to it.

i can;t say i'm too happy about this semester. it's more like i'm being purged for no reason. instead of just handing me the go ahead for my degree they enforce a silly internship where i;m supposed to be gaining experience, instead they mock me over making coffee and boring work. move this here. consolidate. make this look neat. consolidate. y'know what? i'm just gonna skip pretty-ing it up and say: consolidate.

i can't wait until it's over.

but life should get back on track soon. it's like a waveform. equal and opposite reaction kind of stuff. when life gets down it's gonna get up fairly soon. i hope the next two weeks are much better. the album should help too. oh yeah!

Cold, Dark, Germany

I didn't know what to name this one. I made this song way long ago when i wanted the piano to be my main instrument. i came up with this jamming by myself at my house.

It kind of sounds, compositionally, like the soundtrack to an old school horror movie. so i tried to make it sound as such. the brooding emotions of a man left in the dark from all of the things he used to love.the beginning depicts a man who had it all and lost everything at the turn of a season. but then!, he goes into desolation and becomes a monster himself. feeding off of the injustice of the very system that forced him away. and finally through some divine intervention comes a period of happiness after the darkness. y'knowhat? i should've named this song Count of Monte Cristo. damn! it just came to me.

i named it Cold, Dark, Germany because of the movements within it, which could go for anything uncomfortable and anxious really. but the time i spent in Germany was in vain. i wish it wasn't but we can't change the past. we can only perservere until we all find our own happy endings.
